The a cappella Masterclass puts the activities of the vocal ensembles taking part in the festival and competition programme under a microscope. The young ensembles entering the International a cappella Competition are given an opportunity to work on their repertoire, technique, stage presence and much more with the guidance of an experienced a cappella singer and teacher. What’s more, the audience and the other groups can watch this process and hear the results. Accordingly, the Masterclass provides thrilling insights and a cappella inspiration for everyone involved. We’re delighted that the 2023 Masterclass will once again be conducted by Stephen Connolly, who spent 20 years in the King’s Singers and founded the International A Cappella School 15 years ago.
* Concessions are available for children, full-time students, apprentices, trainees, the unemployed, volunteers in the Federal Volunteer Service, people with severe disabilities, and Leipzig Pass holders (proof required).
